Weather conditions are usually optimal at our field in the morning hours through mid-afternoon. Often, while it is overcast in the Santa Clara Valley or coastal regions, we enjoy sunny and clear skies at our field.

NASA and TrueWeather Solutions may be installing a weather sensor at our field as part of NASA’s goal to enhance weather forecasting for Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) operations in the Hollister region.  That sensor will provide us with windspeed and direction, temperature, lighting, dewpoint and other important real-time weather conditions. A link to that data will be provided here, after installation is completed. Currently the project is on hold.
